This man managed to perform a stunt by sneaking past security and jumping down from the 135 meter high London wheel without once being spotted by security guards.Father of two, Mr Gary Connery, 37, managed to sneak onto the base of the central London Wheel before it opened to the public early yesterday morning after swimming along the Thames in a dry suit.
After reaching the top at 7.45am, he unfastened himself and signaled to his family, friends and photographers watching below before hurling himself off. His parachute opened instantly and he gently descended to earth, landing about a hundred yards away from the wheel in Jubilee Gardens.
He said: 'A lot of passers by had seen me jump and came up to say how impressed they'd been, but the security didn't seem to stir at all. The whole thing went seamlessly.'
