We've heard of prisoners being released earlier than their fulfillment term due to good conduct, but recently the fattest prisoner in UK has been released earlier than his term is fully served without even receiving any rehabilitation lessons!Frederick McClure, who weighs 254 kilograms, had served just half of his five-year sentence for child sex offenses and attended no courses to reduce his risk of re-offending.
However, prison chiefs were delighted to see the release of McClure from Risley Prison, cause he was costing them almost 35,000 pounds (68568 U.S. dollars) a year for a nurse to bathe him and change his socks!
McClure has been on a diet since he was jailed in 2003 -- when he was 197 kilograms -- but has continued to pile on the pounds. Prison officers said: "We tried to control his diet but kept finding him stuffing his face with Mars bars. It's a disgrace that he has been let off the course because he was too fat to get to it."
Maybe someday a "skinniest" prisoner may be let off the course cause his body is too weak and his medical bills are too high?
