Woman spents 20 years recreating an 11th century tapestry

Annette BanksAnnette Banks, 46, spent 20 years creating her 16.36 meter long embroidery which depict the Norman invasion of England in 1066. Annette, who suffers from Cushing’s syndrome which stunts growth, spent up to 11 hours a day on the work, which is a copy of the famous 11th century Bayeux Tapestry. In addition, she added 5ft to make it longer than the original.
