Man survives a 12 storey fall

Smart carA Slovenian man survived a fall from the twelfth floor of a block of flats when he landed on a Smart car 120 feet (36.6 meters) below.

Darko Mirinovic, 25, is being treated in hospital in the capital Ljubljana for broken arms, legs and ribs - but doctors at the Clinical Centre Hospital said it was amazing he had survived at all.

Saso Jovanovic, who owns the Smart car which broke the man's fall, said: "I didn't know whether to be happy or sad, he ruined my car, but it saved his life."

Pls see the pasted link below which shows that it goes here about an Opel Astra. Moreover, this accident resulted from a suicide attempt. The medical status of the young man is still unknown.

I think it is useless to say that it is quite a shame that this suicide news is transformed in a publicity for a Smart car and goes around the world and that some people use it for their own publicity.
