These pictures show a star and the moon shining on each other. It is a rare and spectacular astronomical phenomenon which appeared in the skies of Letai city, Xinjiang Province, China. According to the locals who saw the phenomenon, the star appeared above the bright moon at around 11 pm on June 18, lasting till 12:20 am on June 19.Link & Image: Lotec
