It takes more than brute strength to use a chainsaw to sculpt a thing of beauty. It takes an eye for art and a little finesse, said Bill Glander of Oshkosh. "You've got to visualize. You have to have an artist's eye," he said. Glander was among the people who stopped Thursday afternoon to watch the 15 chainsaw carvers –14 men and one woman - compete in the LogHogger's 2007 Competition Series at the Winnebago County Fair. Their show in Oshkosh was the final one in a four-show qualifying series.
