World's biggest headplant in Grand Targhee

Jamie Pierre's JumpA Utah skier says he has set a world-record cliff jump at the Grand Targhee Resort in Wyoming, dropping 245 vertical feet off the back of Fred’s Mountain.

About 100 feet into the jump, Jamie Pierre couldn’t keep his skis under him and went upside down. He landed headfirst and his bomb hole left him buried 6 feet under the snow for roughly a minute until he was dug out by nearby photographer, Adam Clark. He skied away making deep powder turns from the record breaking air with a mere bloody lip.
