These mother-of-pearl coloured clouds are known as nacreous clouds. They are formed under extreme conditions in the troposphere where temperatures drop to a low of minus 80 degrees Celsius and wind speed reaches 230 km/h. These are rare occurrences and occur only during sunset. Beautiful isn’t it?
