For the enthusiasts of multimedia which require huge amounts of storage capacity, here is some good news. Hitachi Global Storage Technologies said that the world’s first 1,000 gigabytes (1TB) hard disk drive will be unveiled as early as the end of year 2006. These drives will be able to fit into typical personal computers as it will come in a 3.5 inch form-factor. Won’t be long now!
