Poor kid with elephant skin

A 9 year old kid in Wuhan, China has contracted a rare skin disease since birth which causes the skin around his upper body, arms, neck and some small parts of his face to look like those of an elephant, with large amount of hair growing on the affected areas. As a result, other kids avoid playing with him and hence he tends to be very quiet and reserved. Unfortunately, doctors have yet to find a cure and they can only suggest that he can undergo a skin graft surgery for his face.
