This African lion in WuHan JiuFeng Wildlife Zoo had made numerous successful kills in a recent training programme - until it met this water buffalo.
With nowhere to retreat, this water buffalo fought hard to survive, which gave the "King of the Jungle" a nasty surprise and caused it to retreat in shame.
