A Diamond made from Baby Hair

Synthetic diamond made from the hair of newborn babies.A Russian company called New Age Diamonds produces gem-quality synthetic diamonds in the lab. The raw material for the creation of such diamonds is either human or animal hair.

Diamonds are, like humans, carbon based, and therefore it is possible to, under lab conditions, make humans into diamonds.

They have recently entered the Japanese market with a new product called “Heart-In Baby Diamond” – basically a synthetic diamond made from the hair of newborn babies. Prices range from USD $3,500 for a 0.2-carat canary yellow diamond to USD $17,000 for a 0.8-carat chameleon red diamond.
