Balancing act on cliff edge

Eskil Rønningsbakken.Eskil Rønningsbakken, a 27-year-old from Hedmark, Norway, is one of the best performers of balancing acts in the world. Last Sunday, he performed a dare-devil stunt by doing a handstand on the edge of one of Norway’s cliffs which faces a sheer drop of 604 meters. To add to the difficulty, he actually perched himself on a four-rung metal ladder which in turn is anchored to the edge of Norway’s famed Pulpit Rock. No security devices were used during the stunt. Standing not too far from him are his wife and son as pictured. He said that he wanted to show that there's a ladder to heaven after all. Click on the picture for a larger view.

That's a pretty impressive stunt. However, if I were that guy I'd be a little more worried about scarring my wife and child for the rest of their natural lives. And also dying, of course.

Maybe he's insured.. But then again, most companies would not want to insure a Dare devil like him! That's why you will never find a superhero with a large insurance policy ;-)l
