Teaching your kids about the different kinds of shapes? How about trying this site which features a number of photos on circles formed from various objects like rocks, sticks and leafs? I especially like this photo in particular where the rocks form half a circle while its reflection in the water forms the other half, thus forming a full circle.Made from the pumice stones that form the shores of Lake Taupo. Pumice, being soft, could be threaded on a bent willow stick to make an arch, which when reflected in the water completes the circle.
