Mermaid Infant
On the 9th of November, Hunan Province's children hospital received a unique case for its intensive care unit - a new born baby with both legs "glued" together that resembles the body of a mermaid. Furthermore, this cute infant does not have an anus or any reproductive organ - a result of the hypoplasia, which causes great concern as the infant could not be fed and hence his/her body is currently very weak. Doctors do not know the cause for such a condition, but commented that it could be avoided if the mother came for routine body checkup during her pregnancy.Link & Image: XinHuaNet

And how could prenatal doctor visits have avoided the condition? Would they have done perinatal surgery? Please. How typical and ignorant to blame the mother.

My guess is that they may ask the mum to go for abortion instead!
