Baboons are arch enemies of the leopard, and one of their major food sources. A leopard had killed a female primate, but then found its live new-born on the ground. Instead of having it for its meal, the young female leopard picked it up in her mouth, holding it by the scruff of its neck and carrying the infant up a tree to keep it safe from a pack of hyenas!More pictures after the jump.
