Cyborg chicks that look and feel like the real thing!

A Japanese firm is selling cyborg chicks - ones that look and feel like the real thing, but are maintenance free.

The small "dream chicks" or Yume Hiyoko that fits nicely in your palm went on sale last week in time for the Easter holidays. Equipped with sensors, it chirps or flaps its wings whenever someone strokes its back.

Manufactured by Sega, these adorable chicks cost 2,310 yen or US$19 each.
