Woman creates collapsable high heeled shoes

Camileon HeelsWalking in high heels just became a lot more comfortable for women. A Philadelphia woman has created the high heel shoe with an adjustable heel.

The Camileon heels allows you to go from a three and a quarter inch heel to a one and a half inch heel in seconds.

Handel created the shoe with the help of her brother, who is a doctor in Philadelphia. He took care of the technology – a steel rod in the heel, with a flexible, yet sturdy leather sole which allows shoes to flex while walking.

"It takes a half a second to get used to the fact that you're in the same shoe but at a different height."

Women who have a long-term love affair with high-heeled shoes now have a viable solution to the problems that come with them.

The shoes start at $260 and go up to $305.
