A 200 year-old Radix Polygoni MuItiflori shaped like a sheep was discovered in Huixian city, China. Mr Zhang Qun Gui was gathering Chinese herbs among the craggy mountainsides and discovered this 45cm x 30cm Radix Polygoni MuItiflori mass that weighs 10.5kg.
An experienced elder said that he had never seen such a huge Radix Polygoni MuItiflori, and gathers that it should be at least 200 years old.
Radix Polygoni MuItiflori is often used to counteract toxicity, to cure carbuncles, and to relax bowels, and the age of the herb does not determine its effectiveness.
