Everyone has a hobby but to this 66-year-old Jiangxi man, swallowing live frogs and rats has become his strange hobby for 40 years. A reporter has recently witnessed Jiang Mu Sheng, a Jiangxi villager swallowing a live frog in Hengfeng town, China. Jiang Mu-Sheng told the reporter that he started to eat live frog when he was 26 years old. At the time, he was a sale staff with Geyuan Marketing Company and suffers from regular back pain and cough. Once, he met an elderly man Yang ting-chai who told him that eating live frog can cure his sickness. Yang soon caught 3 frogs and demonstrated to Jiang how to swallow a live frog. Initially, Jiang was quite scared when he saw the frogs jumping all over the place but after seeing the demonstration he tried it out by swallowing the other two frogs. Continuously swallowing live frogs for a month, he discovered that his back pain and cough were cured. Not only that, he became very healthy since then.
In addition to frogs, he also eats live rats. He even boasted that he ever swallowed over 20 rodents in a single day.
