Man miraculously survived 1,200 meters fall

A 33-year-old Slovak man hit the ground after his parachute failed. However, he miraculously survived the fall.

According to the Slovak news agency TASR, this incident occurred at Boer, 250km east of the capital Bratislava, on the 18 August. After jumping out of the airplane, his parachute malfunctioned at a height of 1,200 meters.

A helicopter took him to a nearby hospital and the doctor said that despite having multiple fractures, it is not life-threatening.

Spiraling downwards, his speed of descend slowed down considerably and that’s the reason for his survival.
