New technology to help remember PIN numbers

New technology to help remember PIN numbersA retired journalist may have come to the rescue of people who cannot remember Pin codes.

Jonathan Craymer, 57, of Warboys, has come up with technology which lets people remember shapes rather than numbers.

Customers would remember a shape within a number grid and trace it out on any number grid regardless of the numbers on the buttons they were looking at.

Mr Craymer, now chairman of high-tech firm GrIDsure, said: "Hopefully the system we have created will make it much simpler for people to get into accounts and much harder for criminals to infiltrate."

The invention was one of a number unveiled at an innovation conference, Gorillas of Tomorrow (Saturday, 08 September), in Cambridge.
