Two aircraft collided on the ground at London's Heathrow Airport on Monday evening. No one was injured.
The aircraft, which collided while taxiing, included a British Airways Boeing 747 bound for Singapore, and a London Fire Brigade spokeswoman said the other airline involved in the collision was a Sri Lankan airlines Airbus A340.
"What we know is that the plane clipped the wings of another aircraft while lining up for take off," a Sri Lankan spokesman said. "We understand it is a minor incident, but are awaiting a full report from London."
