A football player in Minnesota is breaking new ground for teens with disabilities. Avi Duncan doesn't make much noise on the football field. He leaves that for his teammates. He is a pretty popular guy on the eighth grade Westonka football team because of his big play and his even bigger heart.
Avi was born in India with two badly deformed legs. After being adopted and moved to Minnesota, he had them amputate above the knee. But the loss of his legs never got in the way of his love for life. “I just love football and love to tackle people, get out there and hang out with my friends,” Avi said.
