PETA Asks Club to Change Aquarium Dance Floor

A new nightclub is drawing fire from an animal rights group upset that the dance floor is a giant aquarium filled with sharks and other marine life.

Qua Lounge opened last week, and one of its main attractions is a 19,000 gallon underground aquarium. The aquarium has 12 coral reef sharks and at least three different kinds of stingrays.

Animal rights groups say confining the wild animals is cruel and could put them in danger. In addition, the music at the club could disturb the sharks, which have extremely sensitive sensory systems.
