Camel Beauty Pageant

A Saudis from the Otaiba tribe kisses his camel during the Mazayen al-Ibl competition, to find the "most beautiful camels", in the desert region of Shaqra 300 km from Riyadh November 1, 2007. While tremendous oil wealth has brought rapid modernization to the desert state of Saudi Arabia, the camel remains a celebrated symbol of the traditional nomadic lifestyle of Bedouin Arabs.
