Button the Dalmatian came close to knocking spots off a British record when she gave birth to 16 puppies in one go. The two-and-a-half year old has become proud mother of one of the biggest litters the country has known.
The Guinness Book of Records does not have a category for the largest litter of Dalmatian puppies, but the record for any kind of dog is 24.
