A giant pot of rice mixed with cucumber, bean sprouts, mushrooms and 20 other ingredients was cooked in order to serve hundreds of people turning up to commemorate China’s Jiangsu and South Korea’s Cholla-Buko becoming sister provinces on Oct. 27, 1994. 1027 portions of rice which coincide with the date were served. The giant pot was made specifically for this event and has a diameter of 1.5 meter with a height of about 1 meter. 2 more pictures after the jump.
