Mike, 50, from Thornton, got the idea for his timber triumph after seeing a similar car in a trade magazine 30 years ago. His wooden beauty is capable of reaching 40mph (64 km/h).
Mike, who left his full-time job as a cabinet maker now buys and sells houses for a living, hopes the money raised by selling the car will finance his next project – a wooden truck.
