The ingredients say beef, carrots and other vegetables, so, when Stephanie Duke of West Valley opened a new can of stew Friday and saw a thick layer of mold, she knew something was wrong. "I had just recently bought it," Duke said. "It's not like I have bought it years ago and decided to open it."
Duke contacted Wal-Mart where the cans were purchased; they said they hadn't received any more complaints and weren't planning on pulling any cans from the shelves.
