Boy Saves Friend's Life In Class

Ben, 7, was sitting next to his friend, Drake Wilson, in Mr. Miller's math class at Frohardt Elementary when he noticed Drake was choking.

That's when Ben drew on his 7 years of life experience and sprung into action. He wrapped his arms around Drake and thrust upward to do the Heimlich Maneuver.

Drake had swallowed a miniature ninja figure, and like all successful Heimlich's the ending was predictable. "He puked up the toy," said Ben.

Ben learned the Heimlich from his father, who used the maneuver on a co-worker.
