Bravit Candles, designed by German-born and Eindhoven-trained Christophe van Bömmel, are made of sheets of paraffin. They have trails of wicks that cause the original flame to ignite other flames and to die out over time.
That is such a cool idea! It looks like an ant farm in an abstract kind of way at the end of the video. How much of that wax ends up all over the table though? It seems like this design would be pretty wasteful in terms of wax loss out the sides, but cool nonetheless.
