I have always been wondering why there are so many people wearing these unusual shoes (Crocs) nowadays. To me, it looks more like bedroom slippers and doesn’t look elegant enough to be worn outdoors.

I chanced upon a departmental store selling it and after making some enquiries, I found that the main reason for its popularity is threefold. Firstly, since it is really soft, it feels very comfortable. Secondly, weighing at only 6 ounces, one could fly wearing it. Lastly, it is designed such that air passes through thus keeping the feet cool at all times. It looks pretty cute too and comes in various design and vibrant colours. No wonder it is becoming more common nowadays.

I've seen those and thought they'd be good for just knocking around the house and yard but they don't come in all sizes. Their sizes go... 6/7, 8/9, 10/11 etc. so if you wear size 8, as I do, the size you're supposed to get is too big and the next size down is too small. It irritates the crap out of me when they do that. It's the same way with house slippers.

Yes, I do agree lynn. I always get frustrated whenever I find I pair of shoes that I really love but just can't find my size !
